Identifying Community Concerns and Setting Priorities:

Convening a community forum to share the results of the community health assessment process provides a venue for exchange of public dialogue and coming to a consensus about priorities. The prioritization process consists of brainstorming which factors to address, determining feasible strategies given current resources and community support as well as identifying strategies to pursue. Using key talking points and questions allows for constructive community exchange of ideas, perceptions, and interests that can help guide action and intervention strategies.
